For the past 12 years, the Shaolin Hung Mei Kung Fu Association has hosted, sponsored or participated in a wide variety of exhibits, classes and workshops, entertaining performances, and other exciting programs. All of the wonderful activities that our organization offers the community are designed to be inexpensive or free to be accessible to everyone. As a result, we depend in large part on the goodwill of our donors, members, and volunteers. Here are some ways that you can help.

Annual Fund: Tax-deductible gifts to the Annual Fund support SHMKFA’s operations and programs. Through your gifts, SHMKFA will continue to delight and inspire audiences with Lion and Dragon performances and Kung Fu demonstrations; provide educational programs for our community; host/sponsor special events and lectures; and raise awareness of the rich Chinese heritage. Matching Gifts and/or Corporate Sponsorship: Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Many of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar and some even more! Other programs match the employee’s volunteer efforts with a donation equal to the employee’s hourly wage. Investigate your company’s policies!!

Planned Gifts: Deferred or planned gifts such as bequests and charitable trusts play a special role in ensuring that SHMKFA will continue to provide quality performances and educational programming.
